The 2012 Seattle Design Festival featured a 3 day street closure that transformed South Lake Union’s John Street into a public square.  John Street hosted shipping container galleries, art installations, music, food and other design activities.  Image 6 is of a urban seating “hill” made from shipping pallets.  Image 14 features the “brainstorm” an inflatable lighting experience.
